Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about deploying and hosting bots on Bot Hoster.

How do I deploy a bot in 10 seconds?

Go to Smart Paste & Deploy. You can paste your Python/Node.js code, upload a .ZIP file, or click Git Clone. Our automated AST code reader will detect your runtime, extract environment secrets (like TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN), and launch it in an isolated Docker container with 1 click!

What happens if my bot crashes or server reboots?

All bots run with Docker's native --restart unless-stopped watchdog policy. If an exception occurs, or if host infrastructure restarts, the Docker daemon automatically resurrects your bot sandbox immediately.

How does continuous deployment with Git Pull work?

When you deploy a bot via Git Clone, its git metadata is preserved. Whenever you push commits to GitHub, GitLab, or Gitea, simply click "Git Pull" in the Bot Console or VS Code IDE. The latest code is pulled, and the bot container restarts automatically.

Can I edit my bot code directly in the browser?

Yes! Every bot includes a full-featured, browser-based VS Code Web IDE with Monaco Editor, file tree explorer, live streaming terminal drawer, and syntax highlighting.
